Role: UX Product Engineer
Location: Remote, with an office in Virginia Beach, VA (Hybrid-Optional)
Job-Type: Full-time
We are looking for a unique individual who enjoys living in the space between what the user experiences and what the engineer builds. A person that can tell a story with pretty pictures to people who look at you and see code. Someone who can do those things for a distributed team and in person, all day, every day with minimal oversight.
If that’s you, we invite you to be a part of our growing team.
About Us
Noteable is a nationally recognized SaaS platform serving behavioral health agencies (think youth counseling centers, ABA clinics, and social service orgs. Since 2015, we’ve grown a reputation for reliability, responsiveness, and thoughtful product design. As we move into new phase of growth, we’re inviting someone to help us build what lasts. Our Dev team is close knit and might be found discussing whether someone’s eggs benedict is a real eggs benedict while donning a VR headset.
About You
You will be a key contributor to changes that make a difference in people's lives by taking ownership of part of our product life cycle and building out a UI component library. You're a product minded person who truly cares about how our users feel when they interact with our product. You help reduce clicks, minimize frustration, maximize efficiency, and smooth out the rough edges in the product experience while bringing design clarity to our engineers. You think visually, talk architecture, and prefer clarity over cleverness. You work well asynchronously, but don't mind popping into a VR standup to hash out a problem. You're serious about quality but allergic to bureaucracy.
You Can
Deliver UX artifacts (user flows, product components, prototypes, component specs, diagrams, style guides)
Translate business problems into UX flows and user desires into engineering clarity
Build interactive component libraries through tooling that show a pixel perfect representation of what the user will see when the change hits production
Bonus Points
Experience working with an integrated product and engineering team
Experience generating html and css stubs for implementation in components
Familiar with behavioral health space
Familiar with delivering UI components that integrate into the tech stack
Familiar with the idea of interfaces between conceptual components
What to Expect
Full-time employment only (no contractors)
Remote-first culture (but with an office in Virginia Beach, VA if you enjoy that short of thing)
Compensation based on ability, not just years
If this sounds like you and you’re ready to join the fun at Noteable, we’d love to meet you!
